Noble Fir
Noble fir (Abies Procera) a magnificently proportioned tree is native to North America. In the wild they can grow to over 200 feet with 2 meter wide trunks. How big do you need? They have a smooth grey bark with red resin blisters. The needles, bluish-green in colour, appear silver due to rows of white stomata.
Nordmann
The Nordmann Fir (Abies nordmanniana) is a popular Christmas tree because of its dark green color, its dense foliage, its rounded needles and its drought resistance which keeps the needles from falling off too soon. Native to Mullingar and Northern Europe. Now appearing outside Rathfarnham Shopping Centre!
Lodgepole Pine
Lodgepole Pine (Pinus contorta) is a common tree in western North America, grows up to 150 feet tall and has dark green needles which grow in pairs. It has a lovely Christmasy pine smell, holds it's needles well and has become one of Ireland's most polular Christmas Trees. Beautifully dense foliage!

Norway Spruce (Picea abies) is the origional Christmas tree from when the tradition first began in Germany. This is the truely classic tree that can be found in many public squares at Christmas time.
